Montgomery Park Business Center – Baltimore, Maryland 

Green Roof Award of Excellence 2003. Designed 30,000 SF (2,800 m2) Green Roof and lead ecological site planning. Secured a $92,000 grant for green roof installation. Facilitated and coordinated with engineers, landscape architects, and city planning to incorporate and maximize bio-retention areas on previously 28-acre impervious site. Installed June 2002. Recipient of Green Roof Award of Excellence 2003.

Lead permitting negotiations with the City to include 700 SF intensive Green Roof into stormwater management plan at mixed-use project. First green roof in the District of Columbia permitted to comply with required stormwater regulations. Installed July 2004. Recipient of AIA Catalyst Award in 2005 and VA Chapter of ASLA Special Commendation for Sustainable Design.

AquaScape Corporate Headquarters – St. Charles, Illinois

Consulted on 132,000 SF (12,300 m2) extensive green roof design and plant selection for AquaScape new corporate headquarter.

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte, NC Branch Office

Assisted Bank with input and alternatives for living green roof design and specifications for 80,000 SF (7,500 m2) on Bank’s existing roof. Completed May 2008.

National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD

Designed and wrote specifications for 20,010 SF (1,860 m2) green roof areas on the new Gateway Visitor Center. Provided green roof specialty construction administration. Completed June 2007.

O’Hare Airport Modernization – Chicago, Illinois

Work with the City of Chicago, FAA, and airlines to assist with 15 acre (60,700 m2) green roof feasibility, design and installation on cargo replacement structures.

Human Rights Campaign Headquarter Office – Washington, D.C. (Fact Sheet)

Designed 2,000 SF (185m2) Green Roof and supervised of installation – first green roof in Washington, D.C.’s Business District.  Secured a $21,000 grant for green roof installation. Installed May 2003.

Earth Conservation Corps - Washington, D.C.

Designed 3,000 SF Green Roof and facilitated ecological site planning. Solicited material donations and coordinated installation of Green Roof. Completed October 1999.
