Green Roof Award of Excellence 2003. Designed 30,000 SF (2,800 m2) Green Roof and lead ecological site planning. Secured a $92,000 grant for green roof installation. Facilitated and coordinated with engineers, landscape architects, and city planning to incorporate and maximize bio-retention areas on previously 28-acre impervious site. Installed June 2002. Recipient of Green Roof Award of Excellence 2003.

Lead permitting negotiations with the City to include 700 SF intensive Green Roof into stormwater management plan at mixed-use project. First green roof in the District of Columbia permitted to comply with required stormwater regulations. Installed July 2004. Designed and wrote specifications for 20,010 SF (1,860 m2) green roof areas on the new Gateway Visitor Center. Provided green roof specialty construction administration. Completed June 2007.
